A striking silver necklace adorned with three contrasting red carnelian, blue spinel and yellow citrine stones.
Specially commissioned by The British Museum in London, this unique design was inspired by the Judgement of Paris. A popular story from Greek mythology, this story tells of three goddesses Aphrodite, Hera and Athena who competed for a golden apple inscribed with the words ‘For the fairest one’, offered up by the vengeful Eris, Goddess of Discord. This fabled rivalry is the mythological basis for the Trojan War.
Handmade in our riverside studio at the foot of the Ryburn valley in the heart of Yorkshire. All our jewellery is made from precious metals and gemstones from ethical sources. Approximately 7cm in width.
